You know that feeling when you are watching a movie, and it seems as if the two actors on screen have wonderful chemistry? You think, wow, they must be great at their jobs. Well, sometimes, it is more than that. Sometimes they really do have a connection that leads to an affair. According to a popular internet forum, these ten celebrities allegedly cheated on their spouses with their co-stars during filming.

1. Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead met on the set of the FX series Fargo in late 2016, when both McGregor and Winstead joined the cast during season 3, playing each other’s love interests. At the time, McGregor was still married to his ex-wife Eve Mavrakis, and Winstead was married to her ex-husband Riley Stearns. While the two claim their love affair began after their respective marriages ended, his daughter has publicly declared that is not the case. However, she seems to have forgiven them now.

2. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2003 when Pitt was still married to Jennifer Anniston. The two play husband and wife in the film, but things heated up, and Pitt split from Anniston. Pitt and Jolie have said it wasn’t love at first sight but that they made a good team, and after spending so much time together, things clicked for them. Jolie was a single mother at the time, so she was not guilty of adultery.

3. Claire Danes and Billy Crudup

When Mary-Louise Parker was pregnant, Billy Crudup broke up with her and started dating Claire Danes, his Stage Beauty costar. Danes has explained it away, saying she was young and in love. Two years later, they split as well, although they have never publicly revealed how the relationship’s demise came about.

4. LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian first met on the Lifetime television movie Northern Lights set in 2008 and immediately hit it off. However, the country singer and the CSI: Miami actor were married to other people then. The two initially denied rumors that their relationship began as a secret affair but eventually admitted it after they divorced their respective partners and married.

5. Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy

Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy not only starred in nine films together but their hot and heavy romance off-screen was also a well-known secret in Hollywood. Hepburn fell in love with Tracy, but as a Catholic, he would not divorce his wife. After Mrs. Tracy’s death in 1983, Hepburn finally acknowledged their decades-long affair, which ended when Tracy himself passed away.

6. Kenneth Branagh and Helena Bonham Carter

Kenneth Branagh met his then-wife, Emma Thompson while filming the 1987 series Fortunes of War. He clearly has a thing for his on-screen partners, as during their marriage, he started an affair with his Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein costar, Helena Bonham Carter.

7. Michael C. Hall and Julia Stiles

Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter might have played siblings on Dexter. Their relationship was a lot less platonic than that in real life. The two got married in 2009 but filed for divorce only two years later. Why? When Julia Stiles joined the cast of Dexter during the show’s fifth season, the on-screen attraction between her and Michael C. Hall was apparently obvious to everyone on set. Despite the coincidental timing of Hall’s split with his wife, Stiles denies having a hand in the relationship’s demise.

8. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton

Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton made eleven classic films together, but it wasn’t until the filming of 1963’s Cleopatra that they let their attraction for one another get the better of them. The couple’s obsessive affair soon consumed their respective marriages until the two ended up married — twice.

9. Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie

Lucky Angelina Jolie, she has ended up on this list twice. From 1997 to 2000, Billy Bob Thornton was in a relationship with Laura Dern. The two were even engaged, but when Thornton met Jolie on the set of Pushing Tin in 1999, they got to know each other quite well. Maybe too well. Jolie was in a relationship at the time as well, with Timothy Hutton.

10. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson first met on ABC’s sitcom Bosom Buddies set in 1981. Wilson only appears in one episode, but the two have admitted they instantly hit it off. Hanks was married then to his college sweetheart Samantha Lewes, but in 1986 Wilson and Hanks publicly announced their relationship. Hanks divorced Lewes in 1987. That being said, it should be mentioned that Wilson and Hanks are still together and seem very happy.
