5 – Cold Weather
That light drizzle in below-freezing temperatures seems innocent, but hypothermia is no joke. Make sure you’re properly bundled up and can stay warm when it gets cold outside.
6 – Hot Weather
The heat is no joke, either. With cold weather, we can keep adding layers to keep ourselves warm. That’s not as easy to do when it gets hot out; we can take off only so many layers. Make sure you’re hydrated and adequately cooled.
7 – Ladders
I don’t know about you, but I’ve heard the radio commercial talking about the dangers of ladders for years. There’s a reason why it’s constantly played: ladders are a leading cause of major injuries. One mistake can cause you to be paralyzed or worse.
8 – Distracted Driving
Feeling tired? Don’t get behind the wheel; it’s that simple. Dozing off while driving can lead to an accident. Additionally, driving while distracted by texting is also a great way to cause an accident.
9 – Other Drivers
Speaking of driving, there’s something you need to look out for while on the road: the other drivers. For example, just because someone has their blinker on doesn’t mean they’re turning. Make sure you look left, right, and left again when turning.
10 – Fridays
It may be a weekday, but let’s be honest; Friday feels like a weekend. We all do what we can to make Fridays in the office go as quickly as possible so we don’t have to stay late.
