How to Get a Kitchen in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

First off, it’s worth noting that there is no definitive way to get one collective kitchen in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. That’s because they’re made up of individual cooking components that you combine to make your own kitchen.

However, there’s a near-endless amount of kitchen equipment that you can purchase and add to your island’s kitchen. More often than not, you purchase these, using Bells, from Nook’s Cranny. There’s quite the range available, from stoves to refrigerators, so you’ll have plenty of choice. The cheapest item is the Coffee Cup, which costs 270 Bells. The most expensive is the fancy kitchen island, which will set you back 170,000 Bells.

As you can tell, you’ll need to have a good browse of Nook’s Cranny to decide which elements to add to your kitchen. You’ll also need a healthy purse of Bells, to ensure you can grab the most expensive items. However, some of these items cannot be bought. Instead, you’ll have to craft them.

To craft, you have to use Tom Nook’s DIY workbench. From there, you spend resources like wood that you’ve collected from your time on the island to make them into a piece of furniture. While they cost resources instead of Bells, these items are harder to procure – and as such, are more elusive. Therefore, they’ll impress visitors to your island much more. With so many customization options available, there’s something for everyone – so go and make your own!
