Are There Teslas in Forza Horizon 5?

Is Tesla in Forza Horizon 5

It’s hard to argue against Tesla being a household name at this point. The electric carmaker has become one of the most highly-valued companies since its inception in 2003. That doesn’t even include the high-profile nature of it’s CEO, Elon Musk, whose Tweets alone can set off a firestorm in an instant. Elon also plays video games from time to time, and Tesla has been showcased in earlier Forza titles. Taking this into consideration, it leaves many wondering if he allowed Tesla to be featured in Forza Horizon 5. We have the answer for you here!

Can You Get a Tesla in Forza Horizon 5?

Can You Get a Tesla in Forza Horizon 5?

While Forza Horizon 5 offers numerous real-world vehicles from large name brands, Tesla isn’t one of them. This is puzzling, especially since vehicle models that Tesla offers certainly fall into the performance category. While we can only speculate as to why they weren’t included, but it doesn’t necessarily rule out their inclusion as DLC in a later date. However, for now, we can definitively say there are no Tesla vehicles in Forza Horizon 5.

As stated earlier though, Tesla does have a history with the Forza franchise. As a matter of fact, Tesla cars have been in multiple previous installments of Forza titles:

  • The 2011 Tesla Roadster Sport was available in Forza Motorsport 4
  • A 2014 Tesla Model S was VIP exclusive content in Forza Horizon 2
  • The 2015 Tesla Model S P85D was in Forza Motorsport 6
  • And lastly, a 2016 Tesla Model S P90D with Ludicrous Mode was featured in Forza Horizon 3

Tesla’s inclusion in previous Forza games proved popular. There was even a petition back in 2019 to include the Tesla Cybertruck in Forza Horizon 4, but sadly it never got off the ground. As of the writing of this guide, the petition still only has 2,654 signatures, and Tesla’s absence in this installment shows their involvement likely wasn’t a priority.

In the off-chance Teslas become available as a future vehicle DLC release, we’ll update this guide to reflect the inclusion.
