AK47 Assault Rifle Location
Just like every other weapon in the game, in order to unlock the AK 47 Kalash, you will need to search for its corresponding blueprint first. To get your hands on the blueprint, progress through the main storyline until you reach the Vavilov Complex.
This is the area where you will be able to grab the blueprint by heading into the Cold Lab room. There you will find the chest with the blueprint and you will be able to unlock it by filling the canisters in the area with plants.
Since the exact location of the chest itself is random and can vary from person to person, it’s highly recommended that you check all the chests in the area.
After getting the blueprint, you will need to find the parts required to craft the weapon and then head over to the NORA repairing vendor machine.
The AK 47 Kalash can be a great weapon for killing enemies at close to medium range and it uses medium ammo which can be tough to find in the initial stages of the game.
However, as you progress further, you will find large quantities of the ammo and you can easily carry 300 of them with you.
Thanks to the low recoil and rapid fire rate, the Kalash is a highly versatile assault rifle which can be further upgraded by equipping it with parts like the Collimator found near Scientific Testing Ground 6.
