The Soviet Union has taken a dramatic turn with an alternate history that takes place in 1955 for Atomic Heart. In this universe, robotic advancements have greatly progressed life, allowing humans to embrace life more than labor. That is until these machines turn rogue, ultimately killing their creators one by one. It’s up to Major P-3 to deal with the situation once the game comes around later in February 2023 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. Is Atomic Heart Coming to Xbox Game Pass?
Yes, Atomic Heart will be arriving in the Game Pass library as a Day One title. This means that eager players can pre-install the game before its official launch. The delivery date is set for February 21, 2023, but its availability is apparently live on the day before through Game Pass if you check through the service. Regardless, Game Pass users and sci-fi lovers can rejoice at the inclusion of Atomic Heart!
If you aren’t up to speed with Atomic Heart, allow us to indulge a bit. The upcoming FPS utilizes Unreal Engine 4 with additional Nvidia technologies, with development from Mundfish. Its publication is being shared among three companies from three different areas. VK Play will publish Atomic Heart in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS); 4Divinity will take care of the Asia region; Focus Entertainment is handling the rest with worldwide distribution. Music is being composed by Mick Gordon (Wolfenstein, DOOM, Killer Instinct – Seasons 1 and 2).
It takes place in the Soviet Union in 1955. Players will take on the role of Major Nechaev, with a nickname going by P-3. He’s sent on a mission to handle a situation occurring over at Facility 3826, which comes with the deadly additions of aberrant machines, mutated beings, and other technological nightmares. There’s a new gameplay trailer for Atomic Heart that essentially showcases the narrative, coupled with explosive action and electronic music. We’ve attached the footage above.
