There are loads of cosmetics that you can collect in Back 4 Blood. And almost all of them are hidden behind achievements, supply drops, or more! Digging through all of the potential unlock requirements can be a chore. And the outfits themselves say nothing about how they can be unlocked! So, our Battle Hardened Outfits are going to be hard to locate. These are pretty awesome looking changes to each survivor, and are definitely worth exploring. But, how do you unlock the battle hardened skins?
How to Get Battle Hardened Outfits in Back 4 Blood
In order to unlock the Battle Hardened Outfits in Back 4 Blood, you’re going to need to break out your wallet! These cosmetics are unlocked by paying for the Ultimate Edition, where they will be unlocked in Fort Hope as soon as you get there. They are also available for holders of the Xbox Game Pass, where they come with the pass at no additional charge. These skins are only available for the original four survivors – Walker, Evangelo, Mom, and Holly.
Unfortunately, there is currently no other way to obtain the Battle Hardened Outfits in Back 4 Blood. You must purchase them in some way, be it through the Game Pass or through the Ultimate Edition.
Do not fret, though! You can use the current deal for the Xbox Game Pass to try the game – and the skins – for $1!
In addition, if you want to get the Ultimate Edition, you’ll also gain a few other benefits. You’ll get the DLC pack, which will include a new campaign and new playable items, as well as other cosmetic items. You won’t be dropping 40 bucks just for the Hardened Outfit pack, that’s for sure!
Hopefully, in the future, you might be able to unlock the outfits by themselves without needing to purchase the Ultimate Edition or any other deal pack.
