Arkane’s Back 4 Blood is almost here, and this weekend, players can get a snippet of the game through the free open beta. The beta runs over two different extended weekends, first from August 5-9, and then from August 12-16. There is, however, a way to get into the open beta early, and try the game out before anyone else. Read on to find out how to get into the Back 4 Blood open beta.
How to Get in the Back 4 Blood Beta
To get into the Back 4 Blood beta earlier than other players, there’s a few simple steps to follow. They mostly involve Twitch streams drops, and we’ve got all the instructions below:
- You need to be older than 13 years old, and hold an account with WB Games.
- Make sure your WB Games account is linked to your Twitch account.
- Some Twitch streamers are broadcasting Back 4 Blood, with giveaway drops live. Watch one of these streamers for over 60 minutes.
- Check the Twitch drops page, to see how much more you need to watch. Once you’ve reached 60 minutes, you can claim your code. It’ll appear in your WB Games account.
Once this is done, you should have a code to get into the Back 4 Blood beta before general access begins. It’s a simple and quick way to try the game out before others, and to get extra knowledge on the range of weapons and skills available. It’s also quite an easy task to complete too, as you only need to watch 60 minutes of Twitch streamers to unlock a code.
With the code, you’ll be able to get in early – though WB Games hasn’t clarified how much extra time you’ll get. It could be an increased time limit on the game, or a day or two early – we’ll have to wait and see. Nonetheless, it’s good to see that access to the beta is as easy as watching Twitch for an hour.
