Where to Find Fiend Fang in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Fiend Fang

You’ll find loads of different craftable items throughout Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and one of those items is the Fiend Fang. This little tooth can be used to craft a couple of different items that will prove to be very beneficial for players throughout the game with the help of Johannes.

Finding the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Fiend Fang item will be crucial to crafting some awesome materials and enhancing a few Shards. They are notably generated later in the game after you’ve obtained the game’s primary Skill Shards. Let’s take a look at where players can find the Fiend Fang item in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for Miriam as she approaches the endgame at Hellhold.

How to Get Fiend Fang

The location of the Fiend Fang material is within the Den of Behemoths area in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night after defeating either a Marbas or Silver Wolfman. Their drop rates are set at the same range of 8%, making this acquisition relatively easy to obtain. That all depends on your endurance as you explore the Den of Behemoths, which is arguably one of Hellhold’s freakiest areas.

The Fiend Fang item in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night can be used to craft the following items: Almace, Caladbolg, Dies Irae, Florenbeg, and Hell’s Knells. Each of these items will be beneficial to Miriam in a different way. For example, the Florenbeg is a melee weapon imbued with Cut and Fire Resistance; its damage is set at 42. Furthermore, Hell’s Knells will increase damage with the help of Cut, Dark, and Strike Resistance stats. The latter notably requires Dainsleif and Hermes Shoes to be crafted with Legendary Equipment.

Expert Tip

Keep in mind that many of the endgame materials are required to craft some of the strongest pieces of equipment for Miriam before she can fight the final bosses of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. As you collectively muster up ingredients throughout the Hellhold, be sure to visit Dominique in Arvantville for additional materials to help complete certain recipes. Enemy item drops can only go so far, thus try your hand with the Alchemic Bounty, which can double a crafted item by chance with Johannes, also in Arvantville.

In addition to crafting items, the Fiend Fang can also be used to enhance the Augment STR, Summon Gieremund, and Summon Water Leaper Shards. All of these enhancements will help players along their journey and make their playthrough a tad easier, especially if they have a preference for certain Conjure Shards and their mystical builds.

Where to Find Marbas and Silver Wolfman

As aforementioned, there are two enemies that drop the Fiend Fang – Marbas and Silver Wolfman. These gigantic foes reside within the secret Den of Behemoths area, which is only accessible by “successfully” defeating Gebel with a particular sword and moon. This essentially unlocks the final stages of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, where the narrative takes a surprising turn for Miriam and her fellow companions.

These two foes are located throughout a couple of rooms in the above-mentioned Den. You’ll quickly notice that everything is larger in appearance and a crimson hue has been painted over the atmosphere. It’s basically a tough playground to navigate through before you can reach the Glacial Tomb, the heart of Hellhold.

Remember, both of these enemies have a Fiend Fang drop rate of only 8%. This means that you’ll likely need to take on a handful of enemies before you find a Fiend Fang. Spam enter and exit the rooms that they are in, by killing them on repeat until you’ve acquired the material in question. However, since both enemies are located in the same place, it shouldn’t be hard to find the proper spaces to fight.

In addition to the Fiend Fang drop, both enemies can potentially provide other items upon their defeat. The Marbas demon can lay down pieces of their Lion Lord’s Mane and Drain Shard for 5% each in terms of the drop rate. Silver Wolfman can possibly drop a Fiend Claws and Fiend Pelt at 5%, though be mindful of their leaping attacks.

As a final note, be sure to visit Lindsay to collect any available bounties that pertain to the demons in the Den of Behemoths. She’ll have some precious items to give away if you embark on her vengeful requests to bring down certain numbers of demons. She’s also in Arvantville, your hub for anything essential for Miriam in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
