Conan Exiles Star Metal | How to Get

Star Metal is one of the best items to use in Conan Exiles if you want to upgrade your armor and weapons. However, like most valuable metals, it’s not the easiest to come by. You’ll need to be at the right location at the right time with the right tools to get it. However, once you know what you’re doing, it will be significantly easier!

How to Get Star Metal in Conan Exiles

Conan Exiles Star Metal

To get Star Metal in Conan Exiles, you’re going to need to head to the western region of the snow biome, north of the Mounds of Dread. While there, you’ll need to watch the sky for meteorites, as they contain Star Metal and can be harvested with explosives and a Steel pickaxe.

As you head to the snowy biome, you’ll know you’re close when you encounter the Cimmerians, as they will be using Star Metal weapons. Make sure to pack some Cold Weather Armor if you have it.

Stick around until nightfall and keep your eyes on the sky. If you’re lucky, you’ll see meteorites fly through the sky, which contains the highly desired metal. You’ll also be able to hear their explosive boom crash into the world. However, be careful, meteorites will kill creatures, and destroy player-built structures when they crash onto the earth.

Make your way to the crash site of a meteorite, and you’ll find it on the ground. The Star Metal inside can be harvested, but first, you’ll need to crack open its outer shell. The shell has 1 HP, but it’s immune to any kind of damage, except explosives. Explosive Jars, Explosive Arrows, Exploding Traps, and Demon Fire Orbs will work. However, the game can be a bit buggy and sometimes it won’t register a hit on the shell. If this happens to you, move to a different angle and try again.

The Star Metal will be visible once the shell has been cracked. To harvest it, you’ll need a Steel pickaxe, so make sure you have the right tools. The core can be struck 15 to 20 times before disappearing.

Star Metal is used for upgrading armor and weapons, helping to give you an advantage in battle.
