CS:GO – How To Fix “Inventory Not Available At This Time”

Counter Strike Global Offensive is one of the most played competitive multiplayer titles however when errors like “Inventory Not Available At This Time” appear, they can ruin your gameplay experience. This error prevents you from accessing your inventory which can be really annoying if you are looking to sell or trade items with other players.

Thankfully, there are workarounds available to help you bypass this error and access the game’s inventory.

This guide will tell you how to fix CSGO “Inventory Not Available at This Time” error.

How To Fix “Inventory Not Available At This Time”

With the recent hype surrounding Counter Strike-2, the servers of the game have been overloaded and under constant high traffic resulting in frustrations of genuine players looking to sell or trade items in their inventory.

Steam is yet to fix this error and there is a chance that the error might appear again despite using the workaround mentioned below. However, it’s still worth giving it a try instead of waiting for an update from Valve so you can get back to using the trading feature.

Thankfully, a GitHub user took matters into his own hands by devising a web extension that allows users to bypass this error. According to the developer, the extension loads the CS: GO inventory over a more stable endpoint to avoid loading errors.

First, you need to head over to the GitHub page and download the extension on your computer by clicking on the Code button and selecting the Download Zip option.

Extract the contents of the zip file to a convenient location such as your Desktop. Now open Chrome on your computer and then type chrome://extensions in the search bar. You can also access the extensions page by clicking on the three-dot menu→ More Tools→Extensions.

Turn on the developer mode toggle in the right corner and then press the Load Unpacked option on the top left.

Navigate to the folder where you unzipped the rar file and then select fixCSGOInventory.xpi by opening the “fixcsgoinventory” folder.

The Fix CS Go Inventory extension will now appear and make sure to set its toggle to ON. Now log in to your Steam account in Chrome and try to access your CS: GO inventory. The issue is most likely to be fixed and your inventory will be working properly as before.

While this extension will allow you to see items in your inventory, you might face issues with trading or selling items if the server is facing high traffic or undergoing maintenance.

Hopefully, this issue will be fixed by Valve soon as many players are looking to access their inventory before the launch of Counter-Strike 2.
