The Broken Relic is a new item that you can purchase from the shop that was added in The Delicious Last Course DLC. This item can be bought for the cost of just one gold coin by visiting Porkrind’s Emporium.
Players can use this item to solve the Graveyard puzzle found at the southernmost point of Isle IV island. Solving this puzzle will help you initiate a secret boss fight available in the DLC.
First, you will need to talk to the three NPCs next to the shop who have won a climbing competition. These NPCs will drop hints about the tombstones that you need to interact with to solve the puzzle. There is no universal solution available to solve the puzzle and the directions mentioned by the NPCs will be different for each player.
You will have to watch for these keywords during their dialogues such as “As a Winner, I never gave up! Left’em looking foolish!”, “I left downtown in a hurry, and forgot my gear, I’ll settle for a second”,” Third Place? I guess things can only go up from here!”
Equip this Broken Relic and head over to the Graveyard to solve the puzzle.
Based on the hints dropped during these interactions, you will need to select the correct tombstone based on its current position on the podium.
After interacting with three correct tombstones, a happy ghost will appear from the middle tombstone with a prompt appearing whether you would like to take a nap.
Click Yes to take a nap and start the boss fight.
Once you defeat the secret boss, this Broken Relic will be turned into a Cursed Relic and an achievement called “A Horrible Night to Have a Curse” will be unlocked for you.
You will be able to now equip this Cursed relic as one of your charms and this will change your weapon into a random one each time you shoot. It will also bring down your health to just a point. If you defeat all the bosses with this Relic equipped then you unlock an achievement called Paladin.
