Cyberpunk 2077 has improved a lot since its disastrous launch 2 years ago and has received a lot of praise from fans and critics alike with the new Edgerunners update. Whether you are playing as Corpo, Street Kid or Nomad, you will need good-quality weapons to take on the bad guys in Night City. The Legendary weapons have the best attributes and will provide you with enough firepower to easily take on the most challenging of enemies including MaxTac reinforcements.
This guide will tell you how to find free legendary weapons in the latest 1.6 update.
Free Legendary Weapons Guide – Cyberpunk
There are a total of 7 legendary weapons that you can obtain for free by exploring different parts of Night City.
Ba Xing Chong Crafting Spec location
The Crafting Spec for the first weapon called the Xing Chong can be found at the location above.
Once you reach there, enter the locked room to find the crafting spec for the weapon inside a locked chest. You will find the access card to open the chest by defeating and looting Adam Smasher during the ending.
Enter the Ebunike docks and then turn right from there.
Go straight along the ramp and then you will find the open door on the right. Enter the room and then turn left to use the door and then reach another section of the docks.
Cross the grilled section and then head straight to use the staircase in front of you.
Once you reach the deck of the ship, turn left and then continue further until you come across the locked door in the middle.
Use the keycard that you obtained from Adam Smasher to unlock the door.
Inside this locked room, head into the corner on your right and you will be Crafting Spec for the Ba Xing Chong legendary weapon.
Unity Crafting Spec location
The second legendary weapon is called the Unity and you can find the Crafting Spec for it at the above Suspected Organized Crime Activity you reach there by fast travelling to Martin St.
Enter the area and then head into the corridor on your left where you will find the suspect.
Kill him to collect the Crafting Spec for the Unity legendary pistol.
Carnage weapon location
To find the Carnage weapon, head over to the above location near Downtown Central fast travel waypoint.
Once you enter the area and then head down to the A level at the parking area.
Go past the yellow barriers and kill the enemies in the corner. You will be able to collect the Carnage power shotgun from his body.
HJKE-Yukimura Crafting Spec location
In order to find the HJKE Yukimura Crafting Spec, head over to the Valentino Alley area above.
Once you reach there, turn opposite and then head right into the area with a grilled fence.
Here you will find two enemies, kill them to collect the Crafting Spec for the HJKE-11 Yukimura pistol.
G-58 Dian Crafting Spec
To find the Crafting Spec for the G-68 Dian, head over to the above location where the Suspected Organized Crime Activity is taking place.
Enter the area and then find the suspect with the white clothes to kill him.
You will be able to collect the Crafting Spec for the G-58 Dian submachine gun.
Ashura Crafting Spec location
To find the Crafting Spec for the Ashura weapon, head over to the above location of the Suspected Organized Crime Activity.
You can visit there by using the Kendal Park fast travel waypoint on the map.
Once you reach there, kill the enemy with the hammer at the top of the staircase and you will be able to obtain the Crafting Spec for the Ashura smart sniper rifle.
D5 Copperhead Crafting Spec location
Last but not least is the D5 Copperhead weapon and you can find the Crafting Spec for it by heading over to the above location of the Suspected Organized Crime Activity.
Enter the area and then find the suspect with the black outfit to kill him. You will be able to loot the Crafting Spec for the 05 Copperhead Assault Rifle from his body.
