Dark and Darker is a grueling dungeon crawling game where players band together to defeat computer controlled monsters and other teams of treasure hunting players. It is not uncommon for players to meet their demise inside these dangerous dungeons.
Thankfully, there are some ways to bring back your teammates to life. To do so, you will need either a cleric or an Altar of Sacrifice. Read the guide below for more info!
How To Revive Teammates
There are two methods to resurrecting an ally.
The first method is to have a cleric in your party. Cleric’s have a large amount of healing spells at their disposal. They even have a Resurrection spell. All you have to do is select the Resurrection perk at the main menu and it will be available for use in the dungeon.
During casting Resurrection, make sure to stay still as even turning left and right will cancel the spell and make you unable to cast it again. So make sure to clear any nearby enemies first before casting it.
The second method is through an Altar of Sacrifice. It is a stone table with a white light floating on top of it. To use an Altar of Sacrifice, you first have to claim your slain ally’s Soul Heart from their corpse.
Use the Soul Heart on the altar. It will cost you some of your current health, but it will resurrect your ally by the same amount. Now you can continue on your treasure hunting quest!
