If it’s sheer firepower you’re after, the Destiny 2 Anarchy weapon is one of the best in the game. This hulking grenade launcher bursts off rounds of blistering exposives, laying all enemies to waste. There’s no doubt that it’s a must-have for difficult raids or boss battles, but it isn’t exactly easy to get your hands on. Luckily, we’re here to explain how to get the Anarchy weapon in Destiny 2.
How to Get Anarchy in Destiny 2
There were previously two ways to get the Anarchy grenade launcher in Destiny 2. However, one of them is now locked off after the method expired, which limits your options slightly. Nonetheless, the other method is definitely possible, requiring you to interact with one of the various vendors in the game.
Initially, the Anarchy weapon came as a reward from the Scourge of the Past raid. That was a mission made available back in 2018, through the Season of the Forge expansion. However, Bungie swapped it out of playlists back in late 2020. Equally, completing the raid wasn’t a guarantee of getting the Anarchy. Since it was a rare reward, you could easily work through the raid and not get it.
Nowadays, it’s a lot easier to get the Anarchy. Simply interact with the Monument to Lost Lights vendor. The wares at these exotic kiosks don’t come cheap, but the Anarchy can appear as part of its stock. You’ll need to head to the Tower, where this specific vendor can be easily found. Of course, given it’s a vaulted item, the Anarchy won’t come cheap. Expect to fork over one Exotic Cipher, 150,000 Glimmer, 240 Spoils of Conquest, and two Ascendant Shards. That’s an awful lot of top-tier resources, but there’s simply no other way to get it.
As such, newcomers to Destiny 2 may struggle to get the Anarchy at the start. It’s a top-tier gun and as such requires a lot of currency to purchase. However, those blistering grenades, and the damage they do, are worth the effort.
