Destiny 2 Harvest at Dawn Bug - How to Fix

New missions and quests are par for the course in Destiny 2, but they don’t always come about without a hitch. In fact, there’s a rather significant bug in the Harvest at Dawn mission which is preventing dedicated players from progressing any further. That’s because it stops the progress meter from increasing, leaving you stuck. Luckily, we’re here to help. This is how to fix the Destiny 2 Harvest at Dawn bug.

If you’ve encountered the Harvest at Dawn glitch, you’ll know how irritating it is. One of the mission parameters is to fill a bar by getting as many power kills as possible. As reported by some players on the Bungie forums, this bar is getting stuck at 10%.

If this has happened to you, the first thing to do is make sure you’ve got the right weaponry. Your best way to complete the objective is to use solar power weaponry, so equip a gun matching that description if you have one available. Many players will accidentally switch to a different weapon type during combat, only realizing afterwards that using it won’t contribute to the objective progress.

If you’ve tried that but nothing has changed, and you’re still facing the bug, there are other options. Reliably, it’s a good idea to quit the mission and try it from the start. That’s always a handy temporary fix whenever the game plays up. Failing that though, the chances are it’s a problem on Bungie’s end. Keep a close eye on their support page, which will list the bug as a known error if it gets any worse.

More often than not though, you’ll need to make sure you’ve got the right sort of weapon equipped. If that doesn’t solve it, then it’s definitely a problem for the devs to patch, hopefully soon. Until then though, the reliable hotfix of closing and restarting the mission may do the trick.
