Here’s what you need to know about how to get the Destiny 2 Iron Core emblem.
How to Get the Iron Core Emblem in Destiny 2
If you’re looking to get the Iron Core emblem in Destiny 2, you’ll need to put in some work. As a Legendary-tier unlockable, the requirements aren’t especially easy, though dedicated players can certainly achieve it. You’ll need to reach rank 10 with Lord Saladin after resetting your Iron Banner rank. That means effectively starting your Iron Banner progression from the very start.
However, that’s definitely easier than it has been recently, because the Iron Banner is now back in rotation. To start off, you’ll need to complete the quest called Forging Iron, which opens up the progression to you. Once you’ve done that, equip the Lord Saladin operator, who is tied to the Iron Banner and also acts as a quest-giver at some points. Once you’ve started on the ladder, you can participate in the featured game mode, called Rift. It’s similar to Capture the Flag, with two teams vying to place a neutral orb in their enemy base.
Of course, you can also work on some of the Iron Banner quests as another way to rank up easily. Daily and weekly challenges are littered throughout, and you can also equip Iron equipment for an XP boost. If you combine a strategy of playing Rift mode and completing Banner challenges, all while having Iron gear equipped, and you should reach rank 10 in reasonable time.
From there, you’ll unlock the Iron Core emblem to display on your profile. It’s a very limited piece of gear, so it’s definitely worth unlocking.
