Destiny 2‘s story is ever-expanding and deeply intergalactic. Whether you’re up to speed with the expansions or just a casual player, there’s plenty of lore to explore. While the DLC may cost you a few bucks, the Festival of the Lost 2022 narrative is available to all Guardians. It comes in the form of Manifested Pages, which can only be acquired by going through a few activities. It’s a bit of a grind, but no need to worry. Assembling Manifested Pages almost becomes like a routine, much in the same fashion as with the other game modes.
How to Get Manifested Pages in Destiny 2
Manifested Pages are converted items that stem from collected Spectral Pages. After completing a Haunted Sector and slaying Headless Ones with the Spectral Pages in your inventory, you’ll find that they have morphed into Manifested Pages. Take these to The Book of the Forgotten next to the Haunted Sector Playlist station to decipher them. In return, you’ll receive the text for the Tales of the Forgotten – Vol. 2. Keep on completing the Haunted Sectors while wiping out as the Headless Ones. Repeat this process to ensure a steady intake of Manifested Pages.
Once you’re ready to do some reading, head over to the Triumphs page in the menu and locate the Lore section. The following screen will present you with three different categories: Light, Dusk and Dawn, and Darkness – in that order. Select Dusk and Dawn, and you’ll see various books that provide further story context. Tales of the Forgotten – Vol. 2 will be at the very bottom, being that it is the latest batch to be added to the game’s lore.
Additionally, collected Manifested Pages can help fill out the Bookworm event challenges for the festival. Of course, this means more rewards, but the Haunted Sectors must be annihilated in order to progress through the challenges.
Eva Levante for the Festival of the Lost
After gathering your Manifested Pages for the aforementioned book, stop by Eva Levante to check up on the current event challenges. She can supply you with Festival Bounties to earn more rewards during the festival. Also, there are two rows containing event weapons, Mystery Bags, and mask variants for players to acquire from the festival. This is where you can find the info for the Horror Story Legendary Auto Rifle.
Of course, you’re going to need Candy if you wish to unlock the exclusive content, mainly via the Mystery Bags. Just remember to wear your mask while engaging in the various game modes!
The Festival of the Lost for 2022 will run from October 18 to November 8, so be sure to grab whatever treats you can muster up before Eva departs from the Tower.
