Spectral Pages play an essential role in 2022’s Festival of the Lost event for Destiny 2. These temporary items are used to acquire Manifested Pages, which provide additional lore for players to check out. However, there are a couple of things to do when it comes to obtaining them, for they don’t magically appear when logging in and playing. They’re merely simple steps, and we’ll walk you through them with this brief guide on how to get Spectral Pages.
How to Get Spectral Pages in Destiny 2
You can collect Spectral Pages by playing through any of the usual activities while wearing their Festival of the Lost mask. These include Crucible, Gambit, Strikes, and more that don’t concern the new and improved Haunted Sectors. At the end of each activity, look to the right of the screen when you receive your rewards. Spectral Pages will be among them, acting as an event currency. You can verify how many you have in total by checking your inventory in the menu.
These Spectral Pages are solely used for the Haunted Sectors. By defeating the Headless Ones, the pages will convert into Manifested Pages, which are necessary for completing the event challenges. To check your progress, stop by Eva’s vendor station in the Tower to see what steps are next for your Guardian.
If you don’t wear your respective event mask, then you won’t acquire any Spectral Pages. This is for players who don’t wish to participate in the Festival of the Lost for 2022. For those that do, it’s fairly easy to farm the pages when you’re already playing the game; just be sure to keep your mask on while doing so. You can always increase the mask’s power level by infusing it with other appropriate equipment containing a higher level.
Plus, if you’re already donning the mask as you assemble the pages, you’ll also obtain Candy for the event. Candy can be spent on the Mystery Bags from Eva for some extra treats. If you’re looking to get tons of Candy, complete any Strikes. The hordes of enemies will drop the currency like a kid returning home after Halloween night. But keep in mind, this year’s Festival of the Lost will run from October 18 to November 8, so head on over to the Tower to be a part of the spooky fun before it comes to an end.
