Discord Mobile: How To Fix Spotify Status Not Showing

Discord, which emphasizes creating a community and has features in this framework, is a messaging and communication application used by thousands of gamers. The application aims to create an interactive environment through its integration with other popular applications, as well as features such as live broadcast and creating users’ own channels.

Spotify is among the main applications that users can integrate with their Discord account. Users may also encounter some problems with Spotify integration into Discord.

We will show you how to fix Spotify status not showing on Discord Mobile in this article.

How to Fix Spotify Status Not Showing On Discord Mobile

Discord, the most popular community-based instant messaging app of recent times, can be used not only on PC but also on mobile phones. Discord Mobile, which has versions suitable for Android and iOS operating systems, has almost the same features as the main application.

Thanks to the mobile versions of Discord, users can message through the application even though they are away from the PC. Thus, the interaction of users with their friends or channels increases.

Another feature that increases user interaction is the integration of Spotify into the Discord app. Users who connect their Spotify account to Discord can show the song they are listening to other users and friends.

When users start listening to songs on Spotify, the “listening to Spotify” status appears under their Discord name, and when you click on this status, you can see what that user is listening to.

On the other hand, in some cases, Spotify Status is not showing on Discord Mobile. While this bug can annoy users, it is not an unsolvable problem.

There are 2 different ways to fix this problem. The first of these is to renew your Spotify connection on Discord Mobile. To renew your Spotify connection, simply follow the steps below:

  • Open the “Discord Mobile” app
  • Click on the “Menu” button which is the three-lines icon at the top left
  • Press the profile icon placed in the bottom right to access User settings
  • Click on “Connections”
  • Tap on the “X” button at the Spotify integration to disconnect the Spotify account from Discord
  • Press the “Add” button at the right side of Connections tab
  • Click on the “Spotify” icon
  • Connect the Spotify account to Discord through sign in Spotify

Secondly, the running game status may be conflicting with the Spotify status. In this case, your Spotify status will not be displayed on Discord Mobile. You can fix the problem by following the steps below:

  • Open the “Discord Mobile” app
  • Click on the “Menu” button
  • Press the profile icon to access user settings
  • Click on “Connections”
  • Turn off the “Display on profile” under the Steam connection
  • Check your Discord status

Either of the above two ways will fix your Discord Mobile problem. After fixing the problem, you can easily show Spotify status to your friends and have a fun time in Discord.
