We’ve had to employ some pretty odd techniques to acquire items for completing quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Nonetheless, we always get to the bottom of it and come out on top, even in times when we rely solely on luck to give us the item we want. That’s exactly the case if you need Rich Soil to finish Scar’s “Nature and Nurture” quest, or simply need it for a crafting recipe. Either way, by using the method in this guide luck will be on your side and you’ll have Rich Soil in no time.
How to Get Rich Soil in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Harvesting crops is the only way to get Rich Soil in Disney Dreamlight Valley. When you harvest a resource, there’s a small chance that you’ll get a Rich Soil as well. You’ll know this is the case when you see blue glowing dirt shoot out of the crop and land nearby you.
You’re going to need more than just a few of this resource. For example, Scar’s Quest requires you to get at least ten of the item, which can be troublesome. Fortunately, there are a few methods you can use to farm it rapidly.
The quickest way to get Rich Soil is by planting wheat. Really any crop will do, but wheat’s one-minute grow time is the fastest in the game. Plus, wheat seeds only cost one star coin each at Goofy’s Stall in Peaceful Meadows. So it’s also a cheap resource that doesn’t require any extra steps to get. Grab as many Wheat Seeds as your pockets can fit, because the more of it you plant, the higher chance you’ll yield the item when harvesting.
Once your wheat crop is underway, all that’s left to do is plant, harvest, and repeat. Then, it’s just a matter of time until you get Rich Soil. It may still take some time to get all that you need, but this is the fastest and most cost-efficient way to do so.
