Where to Find Yellow Bromeliad in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You’ll discover that you accumulate resources quickly in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The game involves constantly running around getting supplies for quests as well as your own adventures. And stockpiling extra supplies can pay off later on when you need them. That’s why your one-line storage chest probably doesn’t have enough space for all your items. This guide will show you how to expand the capacity of your Storage Chest.

How to Expand Storage Chest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

How to Expand Storage Chest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To upgrade the capacity of your storage chest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you first need to upgrade your home. Upgrading your home allows you to increase the capacity of each storage chest you build in your home.

To begin, you first need to unlock home expansions, which you get from completing two of Scrooge Mcduck’s quests. The first is “Scrooge McDuck’s Grand Reopening,” in which you must construct and place signs advertising Scrooge’s store, as well as decorate it with flower pots. After completing this quest, the next one will be “Dreamlight Valley Economy 101.” This is a simple task in which you must sell seven gems to Goofy at his stall; any type of gem will work.

After completing Economy 101, Scrooge will inform you that he has installed an elevator in your home; interact with it to upgrade your interior. The first main room expansion costs 1,000 Star Coins, while the second costs 2,000 Star Coins. However, you only need to do the first room expansion to unlock home expansions. You can always add more later, but if you want to expand your storage chests, you’ll want to save your Star Coins.

After you add the expansion, you will notice a construction sign in front of your house that Scrooge has placed. Interacting with this sign will allow you to improve your home and, with it, the inventory space in your storage chests. The first upgrade cost 2,000 Star Coins, followed by 20,000 and 75,000 Star Coins. All of these improvements will add new features to your home as well as one line of storage to your chests. This is the only way to increase the capacity of your storage chest other than crafting more chests.
