Upon starting your adventures in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll meet Merlin, the wise wizard from The Sword in the Stone. He’ll introduce the troubles that plague the Valley, leaving every character to resort back to their homeworlds. However, he sees the hero in you, thus asking for the retrieval of the four Royal Tools. One of these tools is the magical Watering Can, your instrument for farming. Where to Find the Watering Can in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Watering Can is sitting beside your house in the Plaza behind some barrels and Night Thorns. All you need to do is clear the said thorns to gain access to the tool. You’ll eventually find the time to move other objects but removing these will open up the necessary space for you. It’s distinguished by its blue and gold colors with the famous Mickey Mouse logo on the side. You can use the Watering Can to take care of your crops, which will come a long way in the Valley’s quest for prosperity.
Without the Watering Can, you won’t be able to move forward with the game unless you’ve assembled all four Royal Tools. This is all a part of your initiation in the Valley by showcasing the gameplay basics and lore. The other Royal Tools include the fishing rod, pickaxe, and shovel, which are found throughout the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow.
There will come a quest that also involves Merlin and the Watering Can. In his “A New Enchantment” quest, you’ll work with Dream Shards for the first time with a character. After learning how to use them, he’ll then cast a temporary spell to enhance the can’s power of watering. Instead of using it on crops, you’ll water the vicious-looking mushrooms as a test run with Merlin. Doing so will cause the mushroom to dissipate, another way of taking the fight to the Forgetting. Return to Merlin to finally complete this specific quest.
