Can GameStop Fix your Console?
Although GameStop offers a lot of different services in relation to consoles, repairing isn’t one of them. The straight answer is that GameStop does not offer any repairing services for consoles, controllers, or any other gaming equipment for that matter. Sorry.
However, if you purchased a console from GameStop and it stopped working, as long as it’s still under warranty you can get a replacement or get them to fix it. Alternatively, you can also sell the defective unit to your local GameStop in exchange for some store credits. Unfortunately, the value is going to be low for a defective unit, so don’t expect much.
You can also trade in the console for a different one, but you’ll obviously have to be prepared to add extra money to get a new/refurbished console.
If all else fails, you can always find a local gaming store and ask if they do repairs there. Most of the time, local gaming stores offer console repair services. They are widespread and should be relatively easy to find within your area.
