The Black Knife Assassination Ring was an incredibly powerful and influential group in Elden Ring. Their impact is felt in catacombs across the Lands Between, and you’ll run into a handful of them during your playthrough. However, there is one member of this gang in particular who should be a very high priority to find: Black Knife Tiche. The leader of the circle is the most important one to take down. That’s because she drops her Spirit Ashes, and her summon is crazy strong! Let’s find her so you can use her to demolish the late game.
How to Get Black Knife Tiche in Elden Ring
The Black Knife Tiche summon can be found on the northwestern point of the Moonlight Altar plateau. This is in southwest Liurnia of the Lakes, and it’s only accessible by completing the questline of Ranni the Witch. Once you are on the plateau, simply head northwest to find the Ringleader’s Evergaol. Defeating Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader in the evergaol will grant you the Black Knife Tiche Spirit Ash.
Getting to the evergaol itself is by far the hardest part of acquiring this summon. You need to clear Ranni’s questline right up until you get to the Moonlight Altar. There’s no need to slay or interact with Glintstone Dragon Adula to gain access to the evergaol; you can even do it before interacting with the end of Ranni’s questline.
Tiche is just like other Black Knife Assassins; she’s quick, able to dodge by reading inputs, but does suffer a bit from low poise. The main difference is she may cover her blade in Bloodflame and then leap into the air. If she does this, bail away. The AoE attack that occurs after hits extremely hard and can easily kill a player.
Tiche is currently considered to be one of the best Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring. She can dodge attacks, applies the Bloodflame Damage Over Time effect to enemies, and can even land command grabs on specific targets. She might be the best spirit to level up right now.
However, she’s one among many strong options! Check out our general location guide for the other Legendary Spirit Ashes of Elden Ring for more great options, like Lhutel and the all-powerful Mimic Tear.
