Elden Ring players keen on offensive magic will want to find Comet Azur as soon as possible. This high-level Sorcery is among the most powerful available to Intelligence-focused builds. And, as luck would have it, it’s not a spell you’ll need to fight to earn. Instead, all you need to do is track down the location of the NPC who offers it.
Where to Find Comet Azur in Elden Ring
The Comet Azur Sorcery is found in the Mt. Gelmir region. It’s given to you by Primeval Sorcerer Azur, who rests at the Site of Grace by the same name. All you need to do to get Comet Azur is approach and interact with the sorcerer. However, getting to this location can be tricky.
The best way to get to Primeval Sorcerer Azur is to start from Seethewater Terminus. From there, you need to head west, circling the lake of lava containing the Magma Wyrm until you wind up on its southern shore. Follow the outside cliff, using your steed to escape any danger, until the path starts to rise again.
You’ll eventually run into what looks like the end of the road. Worse, you’ll almost certainly notice Demi-Human Queen Maggie, who guards the area. The Site of Grace you seek is just beyond Maggie, behind the jagged rocky outcropping. If you’re not ready for a fight, run around Maggie and rest as quickly as you can. However, if you’re unafraid, take Maggie out to earn a Memory Stone. Memory Stones are exceedingly rare, and Maggie won’t give hers up easily.
Once you’ve rested, you’ll be free to explore the immediate area without Maggie attacking. Turn south and you’ll see a very peculiar looking person — or thing — near the cliff wall. This is Primeval Sorcerer Azul. Approach them and you will be given Comet Azur. You won’t have to fight, and you won’t have to pay — the Sorcery is simply yours for the taking.
This crystallized magician might not be very chatty, but at least they’re generous. The Comet Azur Sorcery is yours as long as you can reach the Site of Grace without dying. Of course, it may be a while before you can use it, given its lofty requirement of 60 Intelligence.
