How to Get the Golden Scarab Talisman in Elden Ring

Elden Ring How to Get the Golden Scarab Talisman

The Golden Scarab Talisman is dropped after defeating the two Cleanrot Knight bosses within the Abandoned Cave east of the Smoldering Wall Site of Grace. Once they fall, the Talisman will automatically be given to you. In addition to the Talisman, you’ll also receive 7,000 runes – a good start for your farming journey with the Golden Scarab in your possession.

To get to the Abandoned Cave, travel to the Smoldering Wall grace site then head east along a canyon. Keep going until you reach the entrance. Use the long tree branch to gain access without plummeting to your death. Upon walking into the cave, you’ll have to drop down to the pool of scarlet rot. It will start to quickly build-up, so we recommend back-stepping to properly traverse the infested area. Essentially, take the long left path while evading the scarlet lot until you reach the fog wall for the knights.

This particular boss encounter will see you going toe-to-toe with a pair of armored knights. One knight is wielding a spear while the other holds a sickle. They won’t spawn in at the same time, though. The spear knight will start fighting first before the sickle one joins the battle. For some extra muscle, summon a multi-ally Spirit to distract the knights. We found that using the Lone Wolf Ashes was extremely useful since there are three of them. As your ghostly wolves are going to work on the bosses, try to cast powerful Incantations on them to ultimately bring them down.
