Elden Ring has gone gold, according to producer Yasuhiro Kitao. He made the announcement during a 46-minute overview video for Taipei Game Show.

Kitao also announced that they are working on a day one patch based on feedback from the closed network tests back in November.

The Taipei Game Show video showcases various features players can expect when Elden Ring launches on February 25th. From Software promises approximately 30 hours for the main playthrough, with plenty more for side quests.

One interesting tidbit from the video is that the FromSoftware’s pedigree for high difficulty games was addressed. Kitao responds by saying, “This is the perfect title for those who have been interested in our games in the past but who have been put off by concerns about the games being too difficult.”

The video concludes with a fan Q&A, assurance that Elden Ring will launch on time, and confirmation that a day one patch is in the works. Kitao also mentions that while the game hasn’t changed much since that closed network test, there have been some minor tweaks since then, with enemy placement being the example given.

Haptic feedback support for the Dualsense controller on PS5 was also confirmed.

It’s been a long time coming, but Elden Ring is set to finally launch next month. We hope the wait will be worth it.
