Elden Ring is an open-world game, to get from one place to another, you will need to use fast travel or to mount up and travel to the desired location manually.
Mounting up in Elden Ring can be difficult for new players because there are not many details given to the player on the main playing screen. No worries, I am here to explain how to mount up in the following guide.
How to Equip Mount – Elden Ring
Equipping the amount in Elden Ring is quite easy. All you will need to have is a Steed Whistle. This is an item that you can equip and use further on into the game.
Note that you can only use the mount while exploring the open world in Elden Ring, you are not able to mount up in closed areas such as caves, towns, or anywhere where a mount can’t fit.
Open up your inventory and under the pouch section, you will see some empty slots and default controls that you can use the selected item for that specific slot. Equip the Steed Whistle and exit your inventory. After that simply just press on the control that activates the Steed Whistle and you will be mounted!
