Elden Ring Moon of Nokstella - Where to Find

The Moon of Nokstella in Elden Ring is a Legendary talisman that any spellcaster can make great use of. It can increase your memory slots by two, which in turn can boost a variety of stats. This is incredibly helpful for those who wish to cast powerful spells but might require more available slots if you don’t have enough. Luckily, it’s in a fairly reachable location where little trouble guards the treasure.

Elden Ring Where to Find Moon of Nokstella Talisman

The Moon of Nokstella talisman is located within Nokstella, the Eternal City, in the upper part of the Ainsel River well. To reach it, you’ll need to enter the city’s Citadel, where Silver Tears and Swordstresses will be hanging about. There are only a few of them, so it’s easy to run past them without a scratch.

Beware of the giant rolling boulder ball descending the stairs as well. Do your best to avoid it; it seems hellbent on squashing you. Keep ascending until you reach a cathedral where only a couple of enemies stand in your way. Deal with them, and you can then collect the Legendary talisman in a treasure chest behind where they were standing. Not only is it easy loot, but Moon of Nokstella is also one of the few Legendary talismans in Elden Ring needed for a special achievement/trophy.

Keep in mind that this talisman is found in Nokstella, Eternal City — not Nokron, Eternal City. It’s easy to confuse the two, but both cities offer different challenges and rewards. We’ve actually covered Nokron a bit in another guide where we hunted down the Black Whetblade. Be sure to check Nokron out as well for a place littered with easy loot.

“This talisman represents the lost black moon. The moon of Nokstella was the guide of countless stars.”

Collecting the Moon of Nokstella is essential for spellcasters who might be just learning the ropes of Elden Ring. For advanced spells/incantations, additional slots will be required. For example, the Comet Azur requires three spell slots, and some players might not have that much room available. Getting this Legendary talisman can give aspiring magic users a nice lift in whichever incantation they choose to cast next.
