Elden Ring Ranni’s Rise | How to Reach

Elden Ring Ranni's Rise - How to Reach

Certain enemies must be dealt with in Elden Ring if you’re to proceed amongst the Lands Between. This just so happens to be the case with Ranni’s Rise, the tower that houses the titular NPC as well as a few other noteworthy characters. The challenge ahead shouldn’t be too much of a hassle, though. If you’ve succeeded through Liurnia of the Lakes, the following notes should easily come into play.

How to Reach Ranni’s Rise in Elden Ring

How to Reach Ranni's Rise in Elden Ring

To reach Ranni’s Rise in Elden Ring, you must first defeat Royal Knight Loretta at Caria Manor. With the boss out of the way, you’ll be able to access the northwest reaches of Liurnia, including Ranni’s Rise. You’ll also have access to the two other towers within this region: Renna’s Rise and Seluvis’s Rise. However, those other towers are inaccessible at first thanks to magic seals. Ranni’s Rise is the only tower you can access at this point.

Approaching Ranni’s Rise will bring about new opportunities for the players to dive into. Not only do we get to commence our questline with Ranni, but you’ll also meet her three trustworthy companions: Blaidd, War Counselor Iji, and Preceptor Seluvis. They’re merely spectral appearances, but this is the area where you can learn more about everyone that was just mentioned.

Additionally, ensure that you reach the site of grace within Ranni’s Rise. It won’t be near her – it’s more along the middle floor of the tower. You can find Ranni at the very top to start your adventure with her.

For someone who loves to be summoned into combat for help, I found myself going up against Royal Knight Loretta a bit more than some of the other bosses. His setup is fairly simple: the arena gives your player a circular playground to mess with him. He’s mastered glintstone sorcery, so watch out for the shooting blades he emits when he has a second. With these notes in mind, it’s best to summon some allies to help you wipe out this great foe.

It’s evident that some players are having issues with Royal Knight Loretta, depending on where you’re at in Elden Ring. Always try and assemble some help, should you find yourself in deep trouble with this guardian of Caria Manor.
