Raptor of the Mists grants the Tarnished a sneaky Skill to use on their enemies in Elden Ring. This Ash of War is actually a variant of the Raven Mist move from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Both involve an evasion action that neglects enemy damage with just a swift dodge. Artistically, both emit fragments of black mist, and they’re incredibly useful for combat. To see how you can get your hands on the Raptor of the Mists Ash of War, we’ve put together this brief guide below.
How to Get Raptor of the Mists in Elden Ring
You can get the Raptor of the Mists Ash of War by defeating Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin with Yura. This can be done by summoning Yura via his sign on a bridge north of the Main Academy Site of Grace in Raya Lucaria. Once the Bloody Finger is slain, you’ll initially receive a Furlcalling Finger Remedy and a Rune Arc. You’ll then transport back to the bridge with the Ash of War now in your possession.
What makes this particular Ash of War worthwhile is its swift ability to evade enemy attacks. You commence this movement by ducking down until an enemy strikes at you. Instead of taking damage, wings will lift you into the air, giving you a window to strike from above. It only costs 14 FP to activate, and it can get you out of a tough spot whilst fighting with the Keen affinity. Additionally, this Skill can also be used to evade environmental dangers, from the gigantic rolling balls to saw chariots.
A word of warning for the reckless, however. If you’ve progressed far enough into the game, you might not be able to obtain the Raptor of the Mists from Ravenmount Assassin. Apparently, players are having insane issues locating Yura after a certain point in Elden Ring.
