Elden Ring White Mask | How to Get

Elden Ring White Mask - How to Get

There is a seemingly innocuous helm in Elden Ring that is resonating with certain player builds. It’s the White Mask, which is a much sought-after item for those utilizing Blood Loss strategies. This helm grants a healthy 10% boost to attack for twenty seconds when Blood Loss is inflicted on an enemy within a certain range of your location. We’ll tell you how to find this elusive headpiece.

How to Get the White Mask in Elden Ring

White Mask Varre

Getting the White Mask in Elden Ring is difficult because it depends on an enemy drop. We’ll get to that in a moment. First, you need to reach the location of where these enemies spawn.

Before anything, you will first need to gain access to Mohgwyn Palace. You can complete Varre’s questline to be awarded the Pureblood Knight’s Medal, as this will teleport you directly to the Palace. Alternatively, you can also get here through a gate in the Consecrated Snowfield, but this requires finding both pieces of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.

Before we proceed further, this is very important. If you have not found the White Mask yet, do not defeat Mohg. Beating Mohg will lock you out of fighting the Nameless White Mask Invaders required to collect this equipment.

Upon entering the Mohgwyn Palace, make your way to the area filled with what seems to be blood. There will be several Nameless White Mask enemies here, and they are the key to not only getting the headgear, but the entire War Surgeon Set if you’re looking to complete your collection. Upon defeat, one of them will drop the White Mask. Claim it, and gain your attack bonus for being in the vicinity of enemies inflicted with Blood Loss.

If you’ve managed to find the Lord of Blood’s Exultation Talisman as well, then you have a very formidable set on equipment on your hands. This Talisman awards a 20% attack bonus for 20 seconds when near someone afflicted with Blood Loss. It is important to know this stacks with the White Mask effect, so with both items you are doing 30% bonus damage for 20 seconds.
