Players will receive both Attribute Points (AP) and Learning Points (LP) as they make progress through each level in the game. These Attribute Points are rewarded at every level and can be used to upgrade one of the five-player attributes: Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Cunning. You will start the game with 10 of each attribute and the cost of levelling them will increase after a few levels. After you reach level 31, you will need to pay 2 attribute points to further level up and after level 61, you will require 5 attribute points to level up in the game.
Each weapon and armour in the game will have its own requirements tied to these attributes. If you want to turn yourself into a dual weapon-wielding warrior then you need to prioritise on Strength and Constitution whereas if you prefer ranged combat experience then you will need to lean towards Dexterity.
You will also receive 1 Learning Point (LP) each time you level up in the game. In order to spend these points, you will need to seek out the respective trainer or workbench to level up that skill in the game. There are various skills available ranging from increased attack strength and better jetpack attack to improved survival skills like better radiation resistance.
Every skill will have its own precondition like owning a gear or joining a faction so just having an extra skill point won’t allow you to learn the desired skill. Some skills may also require you to acquire certain resources or allocate attribute points correctly.
