There are many valuable supplies in Enshrouded, some of which are found later in the game than others. The more you progress through the game, the rarer the materials will become. However, you will still need plenty of them for crafting purposes and to complete further quests. This guide will explain everything you need to know about finding Amber in Enshrouded.
How To Find Amber in Enshrouded
Amber is an incredibly useful material used to upgrade the Flame Altar. However, it is one of the rarest resources in the game, so it’s imperative that you loot it when you find it and keep it safe.
Amber is only found in the Shroud, and you’ll need to reach Flame Altar level 3 to be able to explore the Shroud that was once a Deadly Shroud. To ensure you can get Amber, you’ll need a pickaxe and a Glider.
Head towards the Revelwood Ancient Spire and begin to explore the surrounding area. Amber is typically found beneath this Ancient Spire. Luckily, you can farm this area repeatedly by teleporting to the Spire.
The Amber may be hard to see as it blends into the terrain and rocks pretty well.
Where To Find Amber in Enshrouded
A couple of locations are both prominent for finding Amber and are easy to locate.
If you head east from the Revelwood Ancient Spire, you’ll have a chance to find Amber on a huge rock that stands alone. There are many places in the Revelwood area where you can find Amber, and there is a Shroud Root to the west of the Revelwood Ancient Spire with a pretty significant Amber deposit. Amber is also straightforward to mine, and it doesn’t take nearly as long as it does to mine copper, for example.
To the northeast of the Revelwood Ancient Spire, head to the cliff next to the Shroud. There, you’ll find some more Amber. From this location, you can travel directly north in the Shroud and find Amber on some cliffs under the boulders.
There are also a couple of ways that you can cheese mining Amber. For example, if you find a particularly healthy Amber deposit, you can place a Flame Altar nearby so that you can easily travel to and from it.
Amber typically takes two in-game days to respawn, so a quick way of getting around that is by exiting the game and going back into it. By doing this, the Amber will respawn, and you’ll be able to mine as much of it as you need.
That’s everything you need to know about how to mine Amber in Enshrouded. Good luck!
