Although Fallout 76 was once filled with controversy, it has been given continuous support from the developers, and new content keeps being added. Among that new content is the Hellcat Power Armor, one of the coolest-looking sets you can find in the game. It’s powerful, too, which is why most players would love to add this power armor to their collection. If you’re one of them, you came to the right place!
How to Get Hellcat Power Armor in Fallout 76
To get the Hellcat Power Armor in Fallout 76, you must first complete the Steel Reign quest line, specifically the mission known as The Catalyst. Of course, in order to finish the Steel Reign questline, you must first be done with Steel Dawn. With all that done, you’ll get the crafting plans for the entire set of Hellcat Power Armor.
Once Wastelanders is complete, go to Vault 79 and purchase the plans from Regs with gold bullion. Most of the available mods are generally similar to what you’re used to, but there are some really interesting ones for the Hellcat Power Armor. For instance, Hellcat Calibrated Shocks increases your carry rate capacity, and the absolutely powerful Hellcat Emergency Protocols increases speed by 25% and reduces incoming damage by 50% when you’re below 20% health.
Separately, each piece of the set has the following stats:
- 7% damage reduction
- 2% ballistic damage reduction
- 15% radiation damage reduction
- 68 Damage Resistance
- 48 Energy Resistance
- 48 Radiation Resistance
Except for its torso, which has the following stats:
- 7% damage reduction
- 2% ballistic damage reduction
- 15% radiation damage reduction
- 96 Damage Resistance
- 80 Energy Resistance
- 80 Radiation Resistance
Once you equip your own Hellcat Power Armor set, you will look like a hulking, armored space-marine who can withstand thousands of bullets. Additionally, the helmet has a special effect that prevents disease and damage from waterborne and airborne hazards.
