Far Cry 6 features a huge map with loads of interesting areas to explore and loot to collect. Some of these places are pretty obvious, such as Fort Quito, while others are located in remote areas of the map. As you might imagine, the hidden and more difficult-to-reach spots are the ones containing some of the best loot. One such example is the GDP oil platform, an offshore oil rig containing a very special weapon. Keep reading to find out how you can get your hands on it.
How to Solve the GDP Oil Platform Puzzle in Far Cry 6
The GDP oil platform can be found off the northwestern coast of Aguas Lindas. The rig is floating in the middle of the water, so you’ll need either a boat or a helicopter to reach it. You may need to dispatch some enemies here depending on when you choose to visit. But they shouldn’t give you too much trouble.
Once the coast is clear, take a look around the southeastern side of the platform to find a shipping container with a hidden stash inside. There are several containers in the area, but you should easily recognize the one you need since it’s attached to a large crane. You’ll need to lift the container using the crane to get to the loot.
Go to the southwestern part of the GDP oil platform to find a control room marked with the number 16. Go inside and press the big red button. Doing so will cause the crane to lift the container, giving you access to the loot stash. Return to the chest to claim your prize.
The stash contains a bunch of useful resources and, much more importantly, the Supercharger Shotgun. This bad boy is a unique rank 3 shotgun with a rate of fire of 240 and a magazine capable of holding up to seven rounds. The Supercharger lacks somewhat in the accuracy and velocity departments, but more than makes up for it with its great damage, stealth, and handling stats.
