Welcome to your newest farm! Farming Simulator 22 promises to be the most beautiful and up-to-date edition yet. Whether your old blood or a brand new farmer, you’ll find something to keep you working the fields! However, at some point, it’s going to be time for your farm to expand a bit. If you want to buy land in Farming Simulator 22, you’ll need to know the particular process. It’s not too tricky to understand, but the game doesn’t really hold your hand with it.
How to Buy Land in Farming Simulator 22
In order to buy land in Farming Simulator 22, you’ll need to head to the menu screen to look at your map. Look at the UI prompt that says “Farmland” and click on it, which will show the farmland you have highlighted in blue. To get your new plots, hover over them with your cursor and select the piece of land to purchase it. You will get multiple prompts to ensure that the land is what you want, but you’ll be able to grab land like this in no time!
Unfortunately, you can’t really make your own plots right away. Once you’ve purchased the land, it is yours to work with. But, you can’t terraform too much. You’ll need to purchase multiple plots if you plan on adding multiple crops or changing buildings.
You might also want to visit the plots before putting down your deposit. Some of the plots can have steep inclines or different conditions that effect how vehicles can maneuver on the land. There can also be obstacles like trees on the plots that you’ll need to remove. These might not be very obvious on the map screen! Make sure you can invest in the resources required to remove obstacles or purchase better vehicles before you work a brand new plot.
