Despite the large portion of positive reviews, there are some issues that player face. But despite what many think, these issues aren’t necessarily caused by the game. They’re normal issues that are usually user-specific and they can be encountered in all PC games, not just Supraland Six Inches Under. However, that’s a good thing because there’s a lot of proven fixes.
Fix Not Launching, Freezing, Crashing & Stuttering – Supraland Six Inches Under

The fixes we’ll go through in the following how-to can all fix any of the above-mentioned issues you might be having. There are only a couple of fixes, but it’s rare that they’re not effective.
Update Your PC & GPU Drivers
I know this is trivial, but most overlook the importance of your system being fully up-to-date. Both the GPU drivers and Windows can be updated through Windows Update.
Just search for Windows Update in the start menu and click Enter. Then, check for updates and update your system if necessary.
Run Supraland As Administrator & Disable Fullscreen Optimizations
This is also pretty trivial, but in any case, to do this, just right-click a Supraland shortcut or the main .exe file and go to Properties. From there, navigate to the compatibility tab.
Make sure “Run this program as an administrator” and “Disable Fullscreen optimizations” are selected. Press Apply and then OK.
Verify Integrity Of Game Files
Make sure to check whether your install is corrupted or not. You can do this through Steam by going to your Library and going to Supraland’s properties by right-clicking it. Then, go to the local files tab and hit “Verify integrity of game files”.
Depending on the severity of the damaged install this may take a while. Try to launch Supraland after.
Controlled-Folder Access Exception
Controlled-folder access is known to cause weird issues with games such as crashing, not launching at all, or freezing completely. It’s a security feature which you can disable, but we prefer just to add a Supraland exception.
Follow these steps to do so:
- Click the Windows Key.
- Type in “Controlled folder access” and hit Enter.
- Click on “Allow an app through controlled folder access”.
- Press “Add an allowed app” and then Browse.
- Find Supraland and select it.
This will add Supraland as an exception to controlled-folder access. At this point, you can try and launch the game.
Reinstall
This is the absolute last option if you’re still running into issues. However, you can also try to update DirectX and Visual C++ Redistributables before reinstalling the game.
