Fortnite Distraction Dance Emote - How to Get

A new collaboration between Fortnite and Among Us has made its way to the Island. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 offers new back bling and the Distraction Dance emote, both of which are easily obtainable. However, you don’t necessarily have to play the game in order to unlock the content. More so, you might need to make a transaction of sorts, and it must be done properly. Here’s how you can get the Distraction Dance emote.

The Distraction Dance emote is only available to players who own Among Us or have purchased Among Us Stars. Furthermore, you must have gotten Among Us or the Stars through the Epic Games Store. This is to ensure that the player indeed has both games in their accounts. The Distraction Dance emote and the Crewmate back bling will be waiting for you once you log back into Fortnite.

This might come as a disappointment for some players. If they bought Among Us on any other platform, they’ll most likely miss out on getting the aforementioned content. This includes the Steam store, for which we’ve actually tested out and ultimately failed. Perhaps Epic Games will work out some strategy to make the emote and back bling more readily available, but this is merely speculation. There’s also a good chance that will show up in the Item Shop at some point as well. With the ever-growing popularity of Among Us, it’s only right to assume that this emote will stick around for a while.

The new emote is taken directly from the well-known Henry Stickmin dance. It’s also featured in Among Us, only to eventually make its way to Fortnite. In addition to the dance, players can switch up the colors for their new back bling. Select your favorite color by configuring the back bling in your locker.

Keep in mind that this is only the beginning of the anticipated collaboration. That means we can expect to see more surprises down the road. Chapter 3 Season 3 literally started up this week, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for any new Among Us treats.
