The Vibin’ adventures in the new Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 experience are gifting players with many new features. We’ve covered most of the first wave of content that players are getting into. The thing is, we can’t see what everything will finally look like since announcements can be tight in regards to timing. Therefore, we assembled this quick guide to help us answer the question: When will the new Overload Shotgun come to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3?
When Is The Overload Shotgun Release Date in Fortnite?
Players can expect to see the Overload Shotgun arrive sometime soon for this current season. We suspect it to join our arsenals sometime in July after the next big update initiates. The developers have been pushing out content on a weekly basis. These include the return of Ballers, the sprouting powers of a Reality Seed, and new wildlife behaviors. Of course, this includes the arrival of the Reality Tree and many weapons to look forward to. But since there is no set confirmation for the anticipated Overload Shotgun’s launch. However, we should be able to equip them soon within this season.
Once the Overload Shotgun is in our possession, we can start causing some trouble on the battlefield. This new weapon can deal damage within the 110 to 134 range per shot based on a few leaks. And that’s only with the base damage. A deadly headshot execution can result in producing 170 to 190 damage. We assume it’s a pump variant of some sort, according to the leaked sound effects on Twitter and elsewhere.
Some of the newer weapons that have already been introduced include the Two-Shot Shotgun, Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR), and the Hammer Assault Rifle. The beginning weeks of the season have provided enough testing room for the fresh guns. In addition to the Overload Shotgun, many weapons from the previous season have returned. These include but are not limited to the Marksman Six Shooter, Striker Pump Shotgun, Combat SMG, and more.
Whenever an update is about to start, it’s only fair to assume that something new is on the way. Be sure to stay up to date with this current season of Fortnite with more of our guides here:
