Indy has finally arrived on the island in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3! The cinematic hero is now available as a skin in the game, which can be acquired by completing his challenges. They come in two sets, and each completed task will award the player with some Indiana Jones goodies, ranging from his equipment and an alternate skin. For the fans, this is the Temple Explorer outfit. And one quest, in particular, will pit you against a secret door at the main chamber within Shuffled Shrines. To see how you can open the secret door in Shuffled Shrines, you’ll need to find some runes first.
Fortnite | How to Open Secret Door Past the Main Chamber in Shuffled Shrines
At the secret door’s entrance, you’ll see four runes protruding from the ground. Each match will have a different pattern of runes to abide by, so you’ll need to find the corresponding symbols in Shuffled Shrines. For this, we’ll pinpoint where you can find the runes. Matching all four of the respective runes will open the secret door, but first, we’ll need to find our clues.
Let’s start at the main chamber. Exit through the north and go past the lesser Reality Tree. You’ll see a small open tent with our initial clue. Keep in mind that these runes are accompanied by a small white light for better visual reference. The second rune is directly east at a lower level underneath or near a wooden bridge. For the third, head southwest from the main chamber to the surface, until you can jump down into a tunnel. It’ll be at the far left corner of the area; look for the small light. Finally, the fourth is at the top left of Shuffled Shrines within a smaller section of the temple.
Now, each rune corresponds to its navigational position: the first one is the southwest location, the second is at the top left, the third is the first clue with the small tent, and the fourth rune is the one we found under the wooden bridge. The three later clues might be placed differently, but they’ll be within their general areas.
Opening the Secret Door
While you look for the correct runes, be sure to keep an eye out for any opposing players. They’re more than likely to ruin your mission since everyone will be looking for the same clues. It’s best to play with a squad to ensure promising results. With that in mind, turn your runes to their appropriate symbols, and the massive secret door will lift. Before you will be the golden Durrrburger Relic from the films, and you can actually obtain this by sprinting past the wall darts along the way. Just avoid the orange tiles, and you’ll be good to go.
Of course, it doesn’t end there. The actual secret passageway is to the right of the room with the relic past the bushes and vines. It’s in a secret hideaway with two rare chests. Simply stand there, and the challenge will be done and over with. Once you get the relic and complete the Secret Door challenge, get out of there! The gigantic rolling boulder will be headed your way, so make sure you escape as quickly as you can! In the end, the Temple Explorer outfit will then be a part of your collection.
