The Sith have dropped onto the island once again in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. However, it’s not just in the form of Stormtroopers for this round. The new season of Fortnite introduces players to Darth Vader, who has finally made his way to the game. And we’re not referring to the Battle Pass endgame on acquiring his skin. You can actually battle the villainous character to obtain his lightsaber! But where is the Darth Vader locations? It’s a short journey, but it’s certainly a wild one.
Where to Find Darth Vader in Fortnite
Players can find the Darth Vader location during the start of any non-competitive match as soon as the Battle Bus launches. He’ll start off by flying right beside the bus in the Imperial Shuttle, only to quickly land on a randomized spot on the map; this is indicated by the small white antenna with the red light on it. Wherever the Imperial Shuttle stops and lands, it will then make a temporary base/pad for itself. From there, the fighting will begin between the players and the dark side.
If you’re having trouble finding the Imperial Shuttle for Darth Vader’s location, simply look around the island when still embarked on the Battle Bus. You’ll notice a blue beam shooting into the air, accompanied by the folded wings of the ship. This is where you can find not only Vader but also a few Stormtroopers that will fight alongside him. Don’t underestimate these troops. Despite how poor their aim can be in the films, they possess deadly precision this time around. So, not only will other players rush to the scene, but you’ll have these fictional foes to worry about.
Be sure to grab a weapon before arriving at Darth Vader’s location. Resources are scarce at the drop, and you need a reliable firearm to fight Vader. Try taking out one of the Stormtroopers to get their E-11 Blaster. Thanks to their infinite ammo, you’ll be able to lay hellfire on the Dark Lord of the Sith. Beware, though: Darth Vader is one of Fortnite‘s most ruthless bosses if you get too close to him. He can deflect shots, throw his lightsaber, lunge, and ultimately swing at you to death. His health pool is substantial, so keep a safe distance while you attempt to take him out.
It goes without saying that it’s highly recommended to fight him with some company. Just be swift in grabbing his lightsaber once he falls; every player within the area will claw their way to the powerful weapon.
