How to Sell Cars in Forza Horizon 5
In order to sell your cars in Forza Horizon 5, you’re going to need to find a Horizon Festival Outpost. When at the outpost, hit your bumper (usually the E-brake button) to open up your menu. Click the “Buy and Sell” option, then select the Auction House and start an auction with the car of your choice. You can also pick the starting price, the price of a buyout, and the length that the car will be offered for sale.
Selling a car is not guaranteed, so you’re going to want to make your vehicle as appealing as possible. This might mean cosmetics or just a low starting price. You can also upgrade your cars in a garage so that your vehicle is more competitive in the mass market. If you starting price is low, then people might just fight over it enough until you get a reasonable price. Try to keep your buyout price fairly high so that you can get your money’s worth from your car.
The auction house is also where you buy most of your cars, should you want fancy stuff. You can either bid with your fellow players, or fork over the dough for the Buyout so that nobody else can beat you to the punch. Just make sure you’re spending your resources thoughtfully! Once you buy a vehicle, you can’t get the money back. No receipts!
