Forza Horizon 5 is a massive step forwards for car-intensive racing games. Not only do cars feel great to move around a racetrack, but they also look gorgeous! It’s one of the best games for car lovers to play while exploring their passion. However, it can be a bit hard to find more detailed information about your cars as you drive them around. Thankfully, Forza Horizon 5 has a telemetry system that you can turn on. It can be a bit tough to find, though, so we’re here to help you figure it out.
How to Turn On Telemetry in Forza Horizon 5
In order to activate telemetry, you must choose to put the display on a button. Head into your controls and assign the displays onto whatever input you’d prefer. From there, you can cycle through your different telemetry displays to figure out specific information about your car’s performance.
In FH4, this was a simple option in Advanced Controls. However, now you are required to bind it to an input of your choice. This can be a bit overwhelming. FH5 already has an abundance of buttons that you need to have ready at all times. So, the fact that having information about your car at all times isn’t a priority can be somewhat jarring, especially for motorheads.
Especially tricky is that you’ll need to also have the ability to change your telemetry’s tabs. That might involve using a stick in a way that you just can’t. Thankfully, the General page has a bunch of information for you already… But, without the ability to turn off functions like the radio, it feels a bit restrictive that your information panels are locked behind control options.
While the telemetry might be hidden behind some strange control decisions, the rest of FH5 is downright fantastic! Car lovers will find plenty of vehicles to play around with in this game. And if you need help finding elements to fall in love with, we’re more than capable of showing you!
