Forza Horizon 5 Volcano Location | Where to Find

Forza Horizon 5 Volcano Location

Forza Horizon 5 features an absolutely massive map filled with countless landmarks and locations to explore. The Star 27’s mural is perhaps one of the best-known ones, but there are plenty of others that are equally interesting. Among the most imposing of these sites is a dormant volcano you can explore as part of the Baja Expedition. Although this is a sizeable volcano, it’s still easy to miss if you don’t know where to look. Follow this guide and you’ll get there in no time.

Where is the Volcano in Forza Horizon 5?

Where is the Volcano in Forza Horizon 5?

The volcano in Forza Horizon 5 is located in the region known as La Gran Caldera, found on the western part of the map. You should be able to spot it on the map by looking for an area with elevated terrain and a winding road leading up to a lake. However, just because you can see the volcano that doesn’t necessarily mean you can head there right away.

Your first order of business is to gather enough Accolades to unlock the Horizon Adventure Chapter known as Baja. Once that’s done, you’ll unlock access to the Horizon Baja Expedition. This is a story mission involving cross-country racing that introduces you to the region surrounding the volcano.

Or rather, re-introduces you since you do get to visit the area for a bit at the beginning of the game. However, once you unlock access you can finally explore it at your leisure.

While you’re up there, you may want to consider completing some of the optional missions, too. The missions have you role-play as a volcanologist and involve things like finding a seismometer, collecting samples, and smashing steam vents. Fun stuff!

In the process, you’ll also unlock a vulcanologist suit for your driver and a new Ford vehicle. Definitely worth checking out.
