Using data from research and external sites such as HowLongtoBeat.com, we’ll review 15 of the best games from the study, starting with the shortest.

The Stanley Parable

While it will take 90 minutes to complete this interactive story, many fans keep returning for more. 

Gorogoa

The puzzle-solving adventure for mobile devices and consoles takes an average of 1 hour and 49 minutes to complete. 

A Short Hike

Often regarded as a cozy game, A Short Hike has players climbing to the top of a mountain in a beautiful island park in under two hours.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

The prequel to Metal Gear Solid V clocks in at 1 hour and 53 minutes. However, if you’re looking to complete everything, expect to spend over 20 hours in the game. 

ABZÛ 

You can finish this underwater adventure in just under two hours. One hour and 56 minutes, to be exact.

Gone Home

On average, the acclaimed interactive story is finished in 1 hour and 59 minutes. 

Journey

The breakout PlayStation 3 title blew gamers away when it was released in 2012. You can finish the game in just about two hours. 

Flower 

Three years before the release of Journey, the same developers released Flower in 2009. It also takes two hours to complete this visually stunning masterpiece. 

What Remains of Edith Finch

Like Gone Home, What Remains of Edith Finch is an interactive story. Many view this as the superior title, which you can complete in 2 hours and 14 minutes. 

Exo One 

Traverse alien planets in this exploration game. Its main story will last 2 hours and 15 minutes. 

Her Story

From the makers of 2022’s Immortality comes a full-motion video game where you piece together the truth during a police investigation. The story will run you 2 hours and 25 minutes. 

Superhot

This stylish first-person shooter impressed gamers upon release in 2016. It’s even better in virtual reality and offers some of the best 2 hours and 29 minutes you’ll ever spend gaming. 

Grow Home

The PC and PlayStation 4 title features a robot on a mission to save his planet. It will take you 2 hours and 36 minutes to complete the story.

DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace
