Genshin Impact has recently received a 3.1 update called “King Deshret and the Three Magi” that adds plenty of new content in the Sumeru region. It adds new areas, weapons, characters and quests for players to enjoy.
As you explore the desert region of Sumeru, you will come across various Domains with each one of them containing various challenges that you can complete to receive valuable rewards. However, gaining access to these domains isn’t easy as you need to find and unlock the first.

First, you need to head over to the Khemenu Temple waypoint located in the Hypostyle Desert in Sumeru.
Do note that you need to complete the Golden Slumber and the Dual Evidence quests in order to get the Scarlet Sand Slate to the maximum clearance level required to access this domain.
Head into the main hall and then proceed towards the door on your right.
Beware of the enemies in the room and open the door at the end of the room.
Head down into the hole in the middle of the corridor, glide gently and don’t go all the way in.
Look behind and you will find the entrance to access the Altar of Mirage domain.
Interact with the door to enter the Altar of Mirage domain.
