Backyards can often be fun places full of adventure. The same can be said for Grounded, but there’s a lot more than what meets the eye with this backyard. Needless to say, at our minute size, the backyard is a bustling metropolis of dangerous insects looking to tear you apart limb for limb. And if you’re not adequately prepared to enter a new area, this is most likely going to be your fate. That’s why this guide will tell you the best biome order for Grounded, so your not embarking on any unwanted territory early in the game.
Best Biome Order in Grounded
Technically, the best biome order in Grounded is the path that the story missions lead you on. If you follow it mission by mission, your biome order will follow suit with the lab progression. This will look like, Oak Tree Lab > Red Ant Hill > Hedge Lab > Koi Pond Lab > Haze Lab > Black Ant Hill Lab > Sandbox. However, that’s not to say that’s the biome order you should go in. It also doesn’t include all of the secret labs and sub-biomes that have necessities for crafting and materials, but not missions.
This is where thing’s can get fuzzy. Since Grounded is an open-world exploration game, you can really explore in whatever biome order you like. With that being said, there are areas that are meant to be explored at the beginning, middle, and end of the game. And we’ve divided up all the biomes, sub-biomes, and labs in each stage and the best order to do them. You can, however, explain them in any order. But once you’ve completed all in on stage, you can progress to the mid and late-game biomes in the next.
