Gunfire Reborn opens the doors to a world of vibrant characters and action as players dive into a four-act experience. Up to four cooperative players can go up against the hordes of enemies as they move from one stage to the next. While attempting to reach the boss fights, they’ll run into several glowing cracked walls every now and then. These provide access to the Vaults, which are challenge rooms that can reward the heroes with more treasure and equipment. If you aren’t sure how you can open a Vault, we’ll gladly show you how.
How to Open Vaults in Gunfire Reborn
You can open a Vault by directly shooting at it as long as you’ve acquired the Exploration Talent. It’s most likely one of the first Talents you’ll unlock from the Talent tree, under the Expedition category. For only 5 Soul Essence, you’ll not only be able to shoot at the glowing cracked walls but Occult Scrolls will be available to you upon completing the challenges within the Vault.
These Vaults can be explored either through solo play or with a team of up to four players. Whenever someone discovers a Vault, everyone will be notified. You can even check to see who’s entered the room by looking at the players’ names to find the Vault icon next to them.
Consider how we mentioned that there are challenges within the Vaults, which don’t only pertain to nonstop shooting. In addition to the expected shootouts, there are non-fighting rooms that you can engage in that don’t require any bullet spending. Instead, you might encounter a platforming task or a challenge where jumping becomes essential.
If you’re in the mood to go back into a Vault, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Solo fighters have the option to leave the area to resupply themselves with ammo and health if they wish to clear out the enemies without succumbing to their attacks. A team would encounter the same room, but the enemies will be at their starting positions. It’s more lenient if you’re running through an Act on your own since no one is around to revive you.
